Dropbox is an awesome tool that enables you to have your most important files with you wherever you go, if you work across multiple computers Dropbox works flawlessly as a file sync tool & backup tool.
I work across 3 computers depending on where I am and use it literally every hour of the day as all my essential documents are stored in it to ensure that I have all of my data to hand at all times without worrying about carrying a memory stick around or making sure I have a particular computer with me.
That’s just the very basic things that it does, you can use it for copying files to remote locations without worrying about the file being on the internet somewhere, copying scheduled reports back to a head office or central user, sharing photo's / images, sharing files with colleagues / friends in different offices etc etc
Oh and the best bit about it, Dropbox is FREE for up to 2GB of files.
